Community members are sought to be part of the planning group for the proposed new building at the current high school site. SALEM, MA — Salem is taking the next step toward what officials hope will be the path to a new high school within the next five years to seven years with the formation of a School Building Committee. Community members are being sought to be part of the committee that will oversee the project and ensure compliance with the Massachusetts School Building Authority's regulations.
